Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field features the shield of the coat of arms of Kiribati, depicting a rising sun over ocean waves surmounted by a frigate bird in flight, rendered in high relief against a polished field. To the right of the shield, the denomination '5 DOLLARS' is inscribed in two lines. Below the shield, the issuer name 'KIRIBATI' and the date '2000' are struck in bold incuse lettering, separated by a small five-pointed star. The peripheral legend reads 'TE MAURI, TE RAOI, AO TE TABOMOA' along the upper arc and 'BE BLESSED FOREVER' along the lower arc, with small star devices flanking the lower inscription at the left and right.
