| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central circular medallion bearing the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, diademed and draped, after the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait. The legend ELIZABETH II appears to the left along the medallion border, NIUE at the top, and FIVE DOLLARS to the right, all in raised Latin lettering following the circular frame. The date 2015 is inscribed below the effigy within the medallion, while the inscription 70 g 999 FINE SILVER appears in the lower field of the rectangular planchet, outside the central medallion. The surrounding rectangular surface is finished with a smooth matte ground contrasting with the polished medallion. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse displays a vivid color reproduction of Gustav Klimt's celebrated painting 'The Kiss' (1907–1908), rendered across the full rectangular surface of the coin using a colorization technique. The composition depicts a lush, richly ornamented floral meadow setting characteristic of Klimt's Symbolist and Art Nouveau style, with intricate patterns of flowers in shades of green, yellow, red, and blue filling the field. The image captures the decorative botanical background that forms the lower portion of Klimt's masterwork, with the naturalistic yet stylized floral detail reproduced in fine relief and color. The treatment faithfully reflects Klimt's ornamental approach, integrating organic natural forms into a jewel-like mosaic of color. No additional lettering or inscription appears on the reverse. |

Niue has issued collector silver under its own authority since the 1990s, leveraging a Currency Act arrangement with New Zealand that permits the island — population under 2,000 — to produce legal tender coinage with no expectation of domestic circulation. This piece is the thirteenth in a fifteen-part series reproducing Klimt's 1907–08 painting, issued the year before the work's centenary of public exhibition at the Kunstschau Vienna.
Klimt completed the original on canvas using gold leaf, a technique drawn from his so-called Golden Phase, itself influenced by Byzantine mosaics he studied in Ravenna in 1903.
