Beschrijving voorzijde A circular medallion centred on the rectangular planchet bears the right-facing effigy of Queen Elizabeth II in the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait style, diademed and draped. The legend ELIZABETH II arcs along the left and FIVE DOLLARS along the right of the medallion border, with NIUE at the top and the date 2013 at the base. Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse presents a full-colour reproduction of a detail from Michelangelo's celebrated Sistine Chapel fresco The Creation of Adam, constituting the eighth panel in a twelve-part series. The depicted segment focuses on the lower figures of the composition, prominently rendering the reclining form of Adam with his extended limbs draped in violet-grey cloth, alongside accompanying angelic figures set against a warm ochre and crimson drapery background. The vivid polychrome enamel-style printing faithfully captures the Renaissance master's monumental figurative style and sculptural musculature. The image fills the entire rectangular field to its bevelled edges, with no additional legends or inscriptions on this face.
