| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse presents a full-color reproduction of a detail from Michelangelo's celebrated fresco The Creation of Adam, painted on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel (circa 1512). This twelfth and final panel in the series depicts a close detail of the outstretched arm and hand extending toward God, rendered in vibrant polychrome enamel with earthy flesh tones and flowing green drapery against a light background. The color application faithfully replicates the fresco's warm ochres, muted greens, and creamy plaster tones. The composition fills the entirety of the rectangular planchet to the borders, without additional lettering in the field. |
