| Opmerkingen |
Teller training notes were produced by the Reserve Bank of Australia to allow bank staff to practice handling, sorting, and authenticating currency without using — or risking — genuine legal tender. They are not issued to the public, carry no legal tender status, and were never intended to survive outside a training room. Most were destroyed after use, which is precisely why they surface so rarely in collector hands.
The RBA has periodically produced training material for each denomination as new security features were introduced. Getting one is largely a matter of luck and institutional leakage.
