Beschrijving voorzijde The national coat of arms of Liberia occupies the central field, depicting a three-masted sailing ship on the sea, a palm tree, and a rising sun on the shore, all within a decorated shield surmounted by a dove in flight. A scroll across the shield bears the national motto 'THE LOVE OF LIBERTY BROUGHT US HERE'. The legend 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' arcs along the upper periphery, while the denomination '5 DOLLARS' is inscribed along the lower border. A secondary inscription 'REPUBLIC OF LIBERIA' appears on a ribbon at the base of the shield. The design is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field.

Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse features a central colorized portrait of Suleiman the Magnificent rendered after a Renaissance-era painting, depicting the Ottoman sultan in three-quarter profile facing left, wearing a large white turban and a red robe. The colorized portrait is set within a trompe-l'oeil stone archway framing, with relief-engraved battle scenes including fallen soldiers and a cannon wheel depicted in the lower field. The series legend 'THE GREATEST WARLORDS OF HISTORY' arcs along the upper periphery in raised lettering. The date '2010' appears within a panel to the right of the arch, and the subject's name 'SULEIMAN THE MAGNIFICENT' is inscribed on a rectangular tablet below the portrait.
