| Opmerkingen |
St-Hubert's rotisserie chicken chain, founded in Montreal in 1951, eventually grew into one of Quebec's most recognizable restaurant brands. By the early 1990s, gift certificates were a mainstream promotional tool, and St-Hubert issued these in denominations usable across their network of locations. The certificates were printed in Laval rather than Montreal, which by then housed several commercial security printers serving the Quebec retail market.
Redeemable in-restaurant only, these saw real use and attrition — worn and torn examples are the norm, not the exception.
