Reverse description The reverse depicts a traditional Marshallese outrigger sailing canoe known as a tipnol, rendered in fine detail with its characteristic large triangular sail billowing in the wind and a single figure seated at the stern manning the vessel across open water. Five decorative star-burst devices are scattered across the field above the canoe. The legend 'REACHING FOR NEW HORIZONS' arcs along the upper periphery, with the date '1992' and a single star to the right. The Marshallese canoe name 'TIPNOL' appears in the lower left field, the mint mark 'R' to the lower right, and the denomination 'FIVE DOLLARS' curves along the bottom border.
