Aanvullende informatie

Petäjävesi Old Church in central Finland was built between 1763 and 1765 by local craftsmen using traditional Lutheran log construction techniques, without a single architect involved. It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994 as an outstanding example of Nordic ecclesiastical timber architecture. Palau has issued dozens of UNESCO-themed silver pieces under its ongoing commemorative program — a licensing arrangement that has little to do with Palauan culture or history and everything to do with the global collector market for small-denomination silver issues.
