| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Republic of Palau is prominently displayed at center, featuring a shield with a figure of a traditional Palauan fisherman in a canoe as crest above, and the central device depicting a sea deity holding a trident accompanied by a mermaid amid ocean waves, with the motto RAINBOWS END inscribed in the lower portion of the shield.
