Reverse description A large octopus rendered in high relief occupies the entire flan, its body and eight tentacles defining the irregular coin shape. The mantle and arms are richly colorized in swirling shades of deep violet-blue and vivid red, with fine sucker detail on each tentacle executed in brilliant antique-finished silver. The naturalistic composition captures the creature in a dynamic, sprawling pose, with the silver outlines of the tentacles providing strong contrast against the applied color. No legends or inscriptions appear on the reverse.
