| Obverse description | Conjoined busts in left-facing profile of a female and a male law enforcement officer, both wearing peaked uniform caps with badge insignia, rendered in high relief against a plain field. The legend LIBERTY and the date 2021 arc along the left rim, with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST inscribed vertically in the inner field to the left of the busts. The West Point mint mark W appears below the portraits near the lower field. The initials of the sculptor Phebe Hemphill (PH) are visible at the right, and a second set of initials (FM) appears at the center-left of the design. |
