Reverse description A highly detailed high-relief depiction of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps at 4,808 metres, dominates the central and lower field of the reverse, rendered with exceptional topographic precision showing rocky faces, snow-covered ridges, and glacial terrain. To the lower right, vivid colour-enamelled alpine flora — rendered in orange, red, and green — provides a striking contrast against the otherwise silver-toned surface. The legend MOUNTAINS & FLORA arcs prominently along the upper rim in bold raised lettering. An inscribed plaque in the lower left field bears the name MONT BLANC and the altitude 4808m, while the year of issue 2009 appears within a banner cartouche in the lower exergue.
