| Obverse description | The obverse features the coat of arms of the Republic of Palau centrally placed within the field, depicting a crowned Neptune seated and holding a trident, accompanied by a mermaid, set against a wave-filled shield with a crescent moon and an eight-pointed star above; a treasure chest appears to the left within the escutcheon.
