Aanvullende informatie

Hutt River Province — the micronation founded in Western Australia in 1970 by Leonard Casley after a dispute with the state government over wheat quotas — issued commemorative coinage throughout the late 20th century, primarily targeting the collector market. These pieces circulated nowhere and were never intended to. The VJ Day subject marks the 47th anniversary of the formal Japanese surrender ceremony conducted aboard USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.

The X# prefix in the reference places this squarely in Krause's catalog of non-standard world issues — a catch-all for fantasy pieces and micronation output.
