Obverse description A stylized royal crown occupies the upper central field, flanked by the circular legend HUTT RIVER PROVINCE along the upper periphery. Below the crown, the issuing authority NEW QUEENSLAND MINT is inscribed on a raised horizontal band. The denomination numeral 5 is prominently displayed in the lower central field, set against a decorative native geometric pattern band, with the legend FIVE DOLLARS running along the lower rim.
