Beschrijving keerzijde A detailed relief depiction of a U.S. M-1 Abrams main battle tank dominates the upper central field, shown in three-quarter profile with two crew members visible in the turret hatches and the main gun barrel extending to the right. Below the tank, successive horizontal registers show additional armored vehicles, a low-flying military aircraft, and a naval warship, collectively evoking the combined-arms forces of Operation Desert Storm. A ring of thirteen stars frames the design along the inner border. The inscriptions 'IN GOD WE TRUST' and 'LIBERTY' appear in the right field, with the date '1991' in the exergue.

Aanvullende informatie

Hutt River Province was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia, established in 1970 when wheat farmer Leonard Casley seceded from Australia in a dispute over wheat production quotas. It issued coins prolifically through the 1980s and 1990s, largely as collector revenue rather than circulating currency — a business model common among micronations of the period.

The M1 Abrams subject is conspicuously disconnected from anything Hutt River ever possessed or controlled.
