背面描述 The reverse depicts a detailed engraving of a U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer underway at sea, occupying the central and upper field, with a military aircraft in flight above the vessel. In the lower field, a landing craft and an amphibious assault vehicle are shown in a beach-landing scene. Six five-pointed stars flank the central design along both sides. The legend DESERT STORM arcs along the upper periphery, while the inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY appear in the right field. The date 1991 and a mint mark appear in the exergue.

附加信息

Hutt River Province was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia that separated from the Commonwealth in 1970 under Leonard Casley, who later styled himself Prince Leonard I. By the early 1990s, the province was issuing coins through the New Queensland Mint as a commercial venture rather than for any genuine circulation — these pieces were sold directly to collectors and had no transactional use within or outside the territory's 75 square kilometers of farmland.

The U.S. guided missile destroyer subject is typical of the mint's strategy: pairing a nominally sovereign issuer with internationally recognizable military or commemorative themes to drive export sales.
