Reverse description The reverse depicts a detailed engraving of a U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer underway at sea, occupying the central and upper field, with a military aircraft in flight above the vessel. In the lower field, a landing craft and an amphibious assault vehicle are shown in a beach-landing scene. Six five-pointed stars flank the central design along both sides. The legend DESERT STORM arcs along the upper periphery, while the inscriptions IN GOD WE TRUST and LIBERTY appear in the right field. The date 1991 and a mint mark appear in the exergue.
