Additional information

Hutt River Province issued this piece during its long-running effort to fund the micronation through collector coin sales — a revenue strategy that sustained Leonard Casley's secessionist claim against the Australian government from 1970 onward. By 1991, the province had an extensive numismatic program generating more income than any agricultural activity on the property.

The B-52 subject has no particular connection to Hutt River; military aviation themes were simply reliable sellers in the commemorative market of the period.
