Beschrijving voorzijde A stylized royal crown occupies the upper central field, rendered in relief above a horizontal decorative band bearing intricate geometric and foliate patterning in the native style. The denomination FIVE DOLLARS is inscribed in the lower field, with the numeral 5 prominently displayed in large format at center. The legend HUTT RIVER PROVINCE arcs along the upper rim, while NEW QUEENSLAND MINT appears on a horizontal panel bisecting the design. The overall composition reflects a heraldic aesthetic blending indigenous decorative motifs with conventional monarchical symbolism.

Aanvullende informatie

Hutt River Province — the self-declared micronation carved out of Western Australian farmland by Leonard Casley in 1970 after a dispute with the state government over wheat quotas — issued a steady stream of commemorative coinage through the 1980s and 90s, most of it aimed squarely at the thematic collector market. The Bismarck sinking, which occurred on 27 May 1941 after the Royal Navy hunted her down following the destruction of HMS Hood three days earlier, was a favorite subject for commemorative issuers of this period.

Hutt River's legal tender status was entirely self-asserted and never recognized by Australia.
