| Obverse description | A detailed relief scene depicting a baseball game in progress occupies the central field, showing three players in period uniform: a batter at left in full swing, a catcher in a crouching stance at centre, and a fielder leaping to catch the ball at right. A stylized pastoral landscape with trees, foliage, and a small structure forms the background above the figures. The curved legend FATHERS OF BASEBALL II arcs along the upper periphery, while HUTT RIVER PROVINCE curves along the lower periphery, with separating pellets at each side. |

| Reverse description | A forward-facing bust portrait of Mike 'King' Kelly, the celebrated 19th-century American baseball player, is rendered in moderate relief at the centre of the field, depicting him with short hair and a prominent moustache wearing a collarless shirt. The legend MIKE (KING) KELLY curves along the upper periphery. To the lower left of the portrait, the motto IN GOD WE TRUST and the date 1993 appear in three lines within the field. The numeral 5 flanked by a mint symbol appears to the right of the bust, while the denomination FIVE DOLLARS is inscribed along the lower periphery. |

Hutt River Province was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia, formally seceded from the Commonwealth by Leonard Casley in 1970 after a dispute over wheat production quotas. Casley crowned himself Prince Leonard I and issued currency, passports, and stamps with enough consistency that Australian authorities largely declined to challenge the arrangement directly. This piece commemorates Mike "King" Kelly, though the honorific almost certainly reflects Hutt River's own conferral rather than any external recognition.
The province was formally dissolved in 2020 when Leonard's son Graeme wound it down, partly due to accumulated tax debt.
