Reverse description The reverse depicts a World War II aviation scene commemorating the airlift operations over the Himalayan 'Hump' route supplying China. In the upper field, a C-47 transport aircraft is shown in flight above stylized mountain peaks, while a larger aircraft occupies the central field with a group of figures unloading supplies in the lower left foreground. A border of thirteen five-pointed stars frames the left side of the design. The inscriptions 'WORLD WAR II' arc along the upper rim and 'LIBERTY' appears to the right, with 'IN GOD WE TRUST' in the lower right field and the date '1992' in the exergue.
