正面描述 The obverse depicts a lively composite scene of a 19th-century baseball game in progress, rendered in moderate relief across the central field. Multiple player figures are shown at various positions on a diamond-shaped infield, with a crowded grandstand suggested in the upper left background. The scene captures the spirit of early American baseball with period-appropriate uniforms and postures. The upper legend reads FATHERS OF BASEBALL II, while the lower legend along the rim reads HUTT RIVER PROVINCE, both separated by raised bullet points.

附加信息

Hutt River Province — formally the Province of Hutt River — was a self-declared micronation in Western Australia founded by Leonard Casley in 1970 after a dispute with the Australian government over wheat production quotas. Casley eventually styled himself Prince Leonard I. The province issued its own stamps, passports, and currency, none of which held legal tender status outside its own borders.

The "Buck Ewing" designation on this piece almost certainly refers to a promotional or commemorative issue rather than a circulating denomination — Hutt River's coinage served primarily as novelty exports and tourist souvenirs.
