| Aanvullende informatie |
Hutt River Province — formally the Principality of Hutt River — was a micronation declared by farmer Leonard Casley in 1970 after a dispute with the Western Australian government over wheat quotas. Casley styled himself Prince Leonard I and issued coins, stamps, and passports for decades with surprising bureaucratic consistency. Billy Sunday, the American evangelist commemorated on this piece, died in 1935 — making his appearance on a 1993 micronational coin from rural Western Australia a pairing that demands explanation this catalog entry cannot supply.
