| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Belize is centrally displayed, featuring a quartered shield bearing crossed tools and a sailing vessel, supported by two bare-chested woodcutters — one shouldering an axe, the other a paddle — flanking the shield. A mahogany tree rises above the shield as a crest, and a scroll beneath bears the national motto. The arms are encircled by an olive wreath.
