备注

Kananaskis Camp 130 was a German prisoner-of-war camp operated under the Geneva Convention in Alberta, Canada, during and immediately after the Second World War. Camp scrip of this type was issued to allow POWs to make purchases at canteens without handling Canadian currency — an arrangement that also prevented cash accumulation and potential use in escape attempts.

The five-dollar denomination is notably high for camp scrip, suggesting use for larger canteen transactions or accumulated savings. Most Kananaskis scrip was destroyed after repatriation; surviving pieces entered collectors' hands through former guards or administrative staff.
