| Reverse description | The reverse presents a finely detailed high-relief depiction of the Golden Gate Bridge as seen from a low, dramatic perspective, capturing the monumental Art Deco towers, the sweeping suspension cables, the roadway deck, and the structural steel latticework of the approach spans in meticulous detail. Water and rocky shoreline elements are rendered in the lower portion of the field, enhancing the sense of depth and scale. The legend 'GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE' is inscribed in bold raised capitals along the upper border of the rectangular flan, while the date '2017' appears in the lower right field. |

| Additional information |
Fiji has issued gold pieces under its own authority since independence, but this issue belongs to a category the numismatic trade privately calls "souvenir bullion" — legal tender by technicality, marketed aggressively to foreign collectors, and never intended to circulate a single day on Fijian soil. The Golden Gate Bridge has no historical connection to Fiji whatsoever. The pairing exists because the format sells.
