| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Fijian coat of arms in the left portion of the rectangular field, depicting a quartered shield supported by two indigenous Fijian figures in traditional dress, one bearing a spear and the other a ceremonial fan, with a sailing vessel atop the crest.
