Obverse description Right-facing uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II, adapted from the Prussian 5 Mark coinage of 1913-14 (KM# 536), rendered in high relief with detailed military dress including epaulettes and decorations. The legend REPUBLIC OF PALAU arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1999 descending vertically at right. The denomination 5$ appears in the right field. A beaded border frames the entire design.
