| Descrizione del dritto | The obverse presents the Coat of Arms of Fiji centrally within a raised inner circle, featuring two Fijian warriors as supporters flanking a quartered shield bearing a British lion, sugarcane, a coconut palm, a dove of peace, and a British sailing ship, surmounted by an English lion holding a cocoa pod. A scrolled banner below bears the national motto in Fijian. The legend 'FIJI 2024' arcs above the coat of arms, with the denomination '5 DOLLARS' inscribed along the lower rim. The fineness indicators '2 oz' and 'Ag 999' appear to either side of the shield. Above the inner circle, occupying the upper portion of the coin's field in high relief, is a panoramic aerial view of a traditional Slavic or medieval village with thatched and pointed-roof buildings, fences, and trees rendered in fine detail against a receding landscape. |
