| 表面の説明 | Central gold-plated circular panel depicting the Barbados Coat of Arms in detail, featuring a divided shield supported by a dolphin to the left and a pelican to the right, with crossed tridents above and the national motto 'PRIDE AND INDUSTRY' on a scroll below. The date '2022' is separated to either side of the arms within the panel. The legend 'BARBADOS' arcs along the upper rim of the central disc, with '5 DOLLARS' at the base and the fineness and weight indicators '3 oz Ag 999' inscribed along the lower perimeter. The surrounding spherical surface is rendered in vivid blue enamel interspersed with raised, textured gold-plated landmass formations incorporating fragments of authentic Chondrite meteorite. |

The "Blue Marble" photograph — taken by the Apollo 17 crew on December 7, 1972 — became one of the most reproduced images in history and is widely credited with accelerating the modern environmental movement. This coin's embedded Chondrite meteorite fragment adds a material dimension that the image itself could only imply: chondrites are among the oldest solid matter in the solar system, typically dating to roughly 4.5 billion years, predating Earth's formation entirely.
Barbados has no domestic mint; these collector issues are produced under license by external minting houses, in this case almost certainly Coin Invest Trust (CIT) of Liechtenstein, which developed the meteorite-inlay technology used here.
