Reverse description The reverse features a boldly rendered bust of a ram with large, dramatically curved horns, occupying the central field in high relief against a stylized background of bamboo stalks and foliage rendered in a geometric, segmented pattern. The Chinese character for sheep (羊) appears in the lower right field, flanked by the engraver's initials 'SN'. The bilingual legends 'Année du Mouton' and 'Year of the Sheep' arc along the left rim, while 'CANADA 5 DOLLARS 2015' is inscribed along the upper portion of the field, celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Sheep.
