| Reverse description | Finely detailed depiction of two goats — a large adult goat facing right with head raised, its long flowing beard and mane rendered in high relief, and a smaller kid goat seated beside it facing left — symbolising the Chinese zodiac Year of the Goat. A flowering branch with leaves and berries extends from the upper right of the field, enhancing the naturalistic pastoral composition. The date 2015 appears in a rectangular cartouche to the right of the design. |

| Additional information |
Tokelau's lunar series issues are struck by the New Zealand Mint on behalf of the territory, which has no mint of its own and a total land area of roughly 10 square kilometers across three atolls. The half-gram format was introduced specifically to offer a legal-tender gold coin at a lower entry price point, a commercial minting strategy that became widespread among Pacific island issuing authorities in the 2010s.
