Aanvullende informatie

This miniature gold piece belongs to a wave of fractional "mini coin" issues that flooded the collector market from Pacific Island nations in the 2010s, with Cook Islands among the most prolific issuers. The Walking Liberty design, originally created by Adolph Weinman for the U.S. half dollar in 1916, is used here under licensing arrangements that have become routine for these Pacific-issued novelty strikes.

Cook Islands has no meaningful domestic coin circulation — these are produced entirely for the collector and investor market through external minting arrangements, typically involving the Bavarian State Mint or similar contracted facilities.
