George of Poděbrady, king of Bohemia from 1458 to 1471, remains one of the more unusual figures in medieval European politics — a Hussite elected to a throne surrounded by Catholic powers, eventually excommunicated by Pope Paul II in 1466 and facing a crusade called against him by his own subjects with papal backing. He died in office in 1471, undeposed, which was no small achievement under those circumstances.
Niue's bullion and collector gold program has used Bohemian and Central European medieval rulers as a recurring series theme. The KM# 204 assignment places this squarely within a documented multi-issue run from that mint program.
