| Obverse description | Central effigy of Queen Elizabeth II set against a detailed cartographic depiction of Asia, Australia, and Oceania. The GPS coordinates of Tokelau (9° 11′ 59.0″ S, 171° 50′ 57.3″ W) are inscribed prominently in the field, accompanied by a stylized floral motif and a decorative compass rose with stylized cardinal markings. The legend ELIZABETH II - TOKELAU and the denomination 5 DOLLARS appear within the design, alongside the series name IRB TERRA and the date 2021. The composition integrates cartographic and navigational imagery in a modern commemorative style. |

| Additional information |
Tokelau has no mint of its own and no meaningful numismatic history prior to New Zealand's decision to grant it limited self-governing status — its coin program exists entirely as a licensed revenue instrument, with pieces struck in New Zealand or under contract abroad and never intended for local circulation. The three atolls that make up Tokelau have a combined land area of roughly 12 square kilometers and no currency of practical use to their approximately 1,500 inhabitants, who transact in New Zealand dollars.
The "Terra" branding is part of a collector series, not a territorial or historical designation.
