Individual islands are identified by scrolled ribbon banners reading BERRY IS., ELEUTHERA IS., ANDROS IS., NEW PROVIDENCE, EXUMA IS., with Nassau inscribed at the capital, and the notation TONGUE OF THE OCEAN indicating the deep-water channel.
