Reverse description The national flag of The Bahamas is depicted centrally, rendered in high relief and shown in a waving or unfurled position on a flagpole rising from the lower left field. The flag's design, featuring a black triangle at the hoist adjacent to two horizontal stripes, is rendered with fine engraved line work to convey the distinct colour divisions. The denomination legend 'FIVE DOLLARS' arcs along the upper periphery in evenly spaced capital letters. The deeply mirrored proof surface is framed by a continuous beaded border at the rim, with a mint mark visible at the base.
