| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Trinidad and Tobago occupies the central field, featuring a shield charged with two vessels and a hummingbird beneath a chevron, supported by a scarlet ibis dexter and a cocrico sinister, both displayed with wings raised. The crest above the shield depicts a ship's wheel surmounted by a palm tree, while a scroll beneath the supporters bears the national motto in raised lettering.
