Reverse description Detailed commemorative composition depicting the Siege of Leningrad (1941–1944). To the left stands one of the iconic Rostral Columns of Saint Petersburg's Strelka, adorned with anchor reliefs, with the city skyline visible beyond. In the lower field, Soviet anti-aircraft gun crews man multiple elevated artillery pieces aimed skyward. The right half of the reverse transitions into a mirror-polished proof field, within which enemy aircraft and bombs are rendered, crossed by converging searchlight beams. The Cyrillic legend 'БЛОКАДА ЛЕНИНГРАДА' ('Siege of Leningrad') curves along the lower exergue.
