| Beschrijving keerzijde | Highly detailed, ultra-high-relief depiction of the interior of a grand Renaissance-style domed rotunda, rendered in antique finish silver. The lower field presents a sweeping colonnade of Corinthian columns supporting arched niches with statuary, framed by an ornate entablature, with a finely detailed coffered dome rising above. At the uppermost portion of the field, a large lens-shaped natural amber insert is inlaid, engraved with a scene of a reclining female figure in the manner of a Renaissance ceiling fresco, the amber's warm golden translucency contrasting dramatically with the darkened silver ground. The inscription AMBER ART arcs above RENAISSANCE along the lower rim of the field. |
