The subject is depicted with an elegant coiffure, a pearl necklace, and a low-cut gown, with a decorative laurel and floral spray ornament at the base of the portrait and the date 1923 inscribed in the exergue. The legend ENGAGEMENT PORTRAIT arcs within the silver field above the bust, enclosed by a beaded border.
