Reverse description A highly detailed high-relief depiction of the Queen Anne's Revenge, the notorious flagship of the pirate Blackbeard (Edward Teach), rendered as a three-masted galleon under full sail on a turbulent sea, with billowing clouds in the background. A pirate flag bearing a skeletal figure is flown from the foremast, and the initials LB appear on the mainsail. The Perth Mint's P mintmark is visible to the lower right of the ship's hull. Skull-and-crossbones motifs flank the lower legend, which reads BLACK FLAG: BLACKBEARD along the bottom arc, with QUEEN ANNE'S REVENGE arcing across the upper field and 5oz .9999 Ag continuing along the right periphery.
