| 背面描述 | The reverse, designed by Christie Paquet, features a dynamic relief composition of multiple human figures — men and women of varying ages — joyfully interacting in a scene of community and celebration, rendered in a realistic sculptural style against a polished field. Centrally superimposed over the figures is a colorized awareness ribbon in deep red with gold outline, symbolizing support for those affected by serious illness. The legend CANADA is inscribed horizontally across the left-centre field, flanked by the figures, with the engraver's initials CP appearing at lower left and the date 2006 at the lower left field. |

The Pink Ribbon campaign had been a fixture of breast cancer awareness fundraising since the early 1990s, but Canadian commemorative coinage only entered that space in 2006 when the Royal Canadian Mint issued this piece in partnership with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. A portion of the coin's issue price was directed to the Foundation — making it one of the relatively few RCM collector issues where the surcharge had a defined charitable recipient rather than disappearing into general revenue.
