| Reverse description | Highly detailed architectural reconstruction of the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, depicted in three-quarter perspective view occupying most of the coin's field. The monument is shown with its characteristic stepped podium base, a colonnade of Ionic columns supporting an ornate frieze at the upper story, and sculpted lions adorning the roofline. A broad staircase leads to the entrance at lower left, and the engraver's initials appear in the lower left field.
