| Reverse description | The reverse, designed by artist Pandora Young, presents a stylized geometric composition inspired by the Celtic triskele and structured according to a base-six mathematical system. Three spiraling arms radiate symmetrically from the centre of the design, executed in fine engraved lines that create an intricate, flowing pattern. Three clear Swarovski® crystals are set at the junctions of the design elements, evoking the birthstone of March, while a fourth gem-like Swarovski® crystal occupies the central focal point of the composition. The overall design merges artistic and mathematical principles, forming part of the Royal Canadian Mint's birthstone coin series. The artist's initials PY appear discretely within the reverse field. |
