| 背面描述 | A large holographic Canadian maple leaf dominates the central field, rendered with radiating sunburst lines emanating from behind the leaf to create a striking iridescent optical effect. At the base of the maple leaf, within an oval cartouche, the date 2001 appears above the Chinese characters 幸運之楓 (Maple of Good Fortune). The legend CANADA arcs along the upper rim, while FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR is inscribed along the lower rim. The fineness designation 9999 appears to both the left and right of the central design within the flat border ring. |

The "Maple of Good Fortune" was part of the Royal Canadian Mint's early push into the Chinese lunar gift market, timed to coincide with the Year of the Snake. The RCM had identified overseas Chinese communities — particularly in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China — as a lucrative collector base through the late 1990s, and this series was explicitly engineered for that demographic rather than for domestic circulation or the broader bullion market.
The .9999 fineness specification is the detail that distinguishes it from the standard Maple Leaf bullion issues of the same period, which were struck to .9999 as well but lacked the privy marks and presentation packaging that justified the premium pricing on this type.
