| 正面描述 | Right-facing crowned effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, rendered in the fourth definitive portrait by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, whose initials 'IRB' appear below the truncation. The Queen is shown wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland tiara and a pearl earring. The surrounding legend reads 'ELIZABETH II' to the left and 'COOK ISLANDS' to the right, with the denomination '5 DOLLARS' arching across the upper field and the date '2013' positioned in the lower exergue. The field displays a lustrous mother-of-pearl-effect finish. |

Karandash — born Mikhail Rumyantsev — was the most beloved Soviet circus clown of the 20th century, performing at the Moscow State Circus from 1936 until his death in 1983. His character, a small man in an oversized cap perpetually outwitting authority figures, carried an undercurrent of subversion that Soviet censors somehow never moved to suppress. This coin is part of Cook Islands' long-running series commemorating figures of world entertainment, issued under the licensing arrangements that make the territory one of the most prolific producers of commemorative silver in the Pacific.
