Designed by Pandora Young, the reverse offers a multicultural celebration inspired by the ancient Indian tradition of mehndi. This symmetrical composition of refined shapes and symbols creates a 12-point radial motif, reflecting all the months of the year. An image prized in henna art - the lotus - takes center stage, among other finely chiseled details in the center of the motif, where a colorful Swarovskiᴹᴰ crystal represents July`s birthstone, the ruby. Selective coloring matches the stone, and a cheerful contrast between bright and soft tones brings out the intricate play of reliefs in the engraving. |
